Day One of OBS
Dad sent me to school and arrived before 7am. Only Jeannie was there yet. Waited till 715am and people started arriving. Those who were going was Suhail, Fahmi, Eunice, Roger, Grace, Hongshen, Wesley, Kahwei, Edgar, Jeannie, Amirah, Zunaied, Amos, Syafiee and of cause me :) so together there was sixteen. Set off around 730am. On the bus, Suhail and Syafiee keep teasing -.- Told them Darling shaved botak. HAHAHS :x. Reach the reception centre for obs. Was in group five with grace, edgar and syafiee. Luckily they were close with me. Lol. Our group was named LivingStone. Total of four schools in our group- EastSpring, CatholicHigh(boys school), GeylangMethodist, BukitPanjang. Made new friends who were Clayton, Jiawei, Andre, Weimin, Nicole, Germin, Yide, Jeremy, Zhaowei and Nazurah. So total of 14 in our group. Suppose to have 16 but two from bukitpanjang did not come. Ahhas. While waiting for the ferry playing introduction games. Need to say another name beginning with the initials of your name + ur name and the thing you love to do. When it was my turn, I didn’t know what name I could give myself. Grace said Baby Bonnie -.- Anything luh, so Baby Bonnie and I loved to play piano. Lol-.- After the game, Syafiee asked what your baby boy doing? Lol !! I said should be botak baby boy. Ahhhs :x Should be sleeping luh:x Boarded the ferry and reached campsite2. Put down our bags and passed our valuables to the instructor. Played some trust games, real fun:D ahhhas . Then went to our store and started counting the store items. Collected our food for five days at the canteen. We were distributed into half. Me, Grace, syafiee, edgar, nazurah and zhaowei counted the food and distributed them. Changed into track pants and did belaying. Helped one another for belaying, was fun too. When it was almost night, we were told to pitch our tents. Then were told to cook our dinner which was rice + curry chicken + baked beans(?)( forget already). While cooking, we pitched our tents in the dark too. Grace cried bcause it was too tough. In my head, only darling surfaced, almost cried too. Had dinner, rice wasn’t cook well but its was okay. Me and grace shared dinner so didn’t have much. Went to pack our backpacks for the next day. They gave each one a backpack so we had to pack as little stuff as we could to carry them with us to the next campsite which was the next day. Had fire drill, walked quickly to the gathering area. Sat down and hear some briefing. Darling keep surfacing into my mind, looked up to the sky and thought of him bcause he told me before I came for camp, ‘ whenever you look scared, just look up to the sky, I will always be there for you looking at you’ . Tears started dropping but just keep telling myself not to cry. Endure :) . Dismissed and went back to the store. On the way back, saw the moon. The moon is also a symbol between me and darling, if one misses the other, just look up to the moon and we will think of each other. Tears started falling again. Then, fahmi saw me infront. Came up to talk to me asked me hows my day, I said it was ok but I’m gonna cry. He asked why and my tears started dropping again. I said cause when I look at the moon I will think of him. He comforted me and amirah came forward also asked why I cried :x fahmi told her then I was feeling much better already .thanks guys! . Changed into a new set of clothing and went to our tents. Slept with grace and nazurah. Cried to sleep without anyone knowing.
Day Two of OBS
Woke up quite early, round 5plus. Forgotten already. Unpitched our tents with the help of the guys. Changed into our long pants. Met with our instructors. Btw, forget to introduce my instructors. They are Ceceilla and Bibi. Did some morning excerise, super fun through games :) Went for our high element games already. Rock Climbing. In my head, die already bcause I’ve never climb rock climbing. Except in Sec2 camp those indoor one. Then never climb before already. Belayed Grace, she climb super fast luh. Then the rope and my hand caused friction, super pain. Ahhas :x. Belayed Syafiee next. Another chiongster. Hehs. Edgar was next, he was quite scared bcause he is scared of heights. Syafiee belayed him. Lol. Edgar climbed till 6metre while Grace, Syafiee climbed till 12metre. Twice uh :x Next was me. Rather scared, syafiee belayed me :). He belayed me the previous day too, so quite safe. Climbed till 3m I cannot already :( no matter where I climbed also cannot climb further -.- Grace and the others were giving me instructions to where to climb, my leg and hands just cannot grip luh :( sorry guys. Almost shouted botak, didn’t want to shout darling later the instructions would know. Tears started dropping then Cecelia asked if I want to come down. I nodded my head of cause. Came down. Bibi gave me a tap on the back saying I did well :) thanks. Said thanks to those who belayed me too and of cause grace. Super scared luh, both hands no strength at all, wobbly . hehs :x Then went down had briefing, packed out backpacks and changed into our long sleeved shirts. Means KAYAKING next !! Partnered up with grace. Syafiee with an another girl. Edgar with an another girl but that girl headache so he kayaked alone. Was taught of some skills. Then practiced in the sea and did capsizing. Rather fun. Kayaked up more into the sea and did another capsize, forget the name already which one pair need to rescue another pair -.- Almost cant breathe seyy, seriously felt like dying. Lol. Kayaked to campsite1, so tired ><. changed to a new of clothes and went for dinner, cooked for us already :):):). Ahhas. Ate and suhail came over to our table. Finished my dinner rather fast and suhail accompanied me to wash our plate. Complained to him about some stuffs :x I can say, me and him became very close when the camp started. Ahhas :x . Washed the other plates and went for a briefing with three other groups? We are going for a sea expedition the next day!! All EastSpringians are in the same expeditions :):):) . hahhas ! Sat with suhail while grace sat with roger. Was talking away. Ahhas. The teachers brought us to our sleeping area. On the way there, saw the moon again and tears started flowing again :x Fahmi saw it again. Ahhhas :) Pitched our tents in the dark again and prepare for bed time. This time, slept with Grace, Jeannie and two other girls, Pamela and Shahirah from BukitPanjang(?) Nicole and Germin wanted to sleep with their friends so we swopped. Slept rather fast after that.
Day Three of OBS 100609
Woke up at five and prepared everything. Uploaded our backpacks into the speed boat and was starting our sea expedition. This time partnered with edgar bcause girl and girl kayak together is way too tough. Set off at 730am. Halfway through, the instructors called us. They wanted me to change places with nazurah because she didnt kayak before and edgar was quite a skilled kayaker. Bibi asked me whether I kayaked before, I said yes -.- stupid me. I never kayak before, really. In camps, whenever my group wanted to kayak, there would be rain. Zzz right? :x so nevermind loh, kayak with her. Rather difficult, don’t know why. From the first become the last kayak-.- lol. Then our kayak keep going left, stupid :x make me super fedup-.- den suddenly remembered the person infront if its heavier, then the kayak will keep going the other direction, that’s what darling told me :x as what I’ve expected, my partner sitting infront me is heavier than me. Lol -.- reached jelutong campsite at 1pm, both hands aching already. People started telling me i got sunburn -.- Unloaded our backpacks from the speedboat. Washed up and change into new set of clothes. Pitched our tents and cooked our dinner, Maggie. Grace wasn’t really happy, infact not everybody was happy with nazurah. Bcause she cooks in her style and nobody is happy with her. Grace cried, I have to assist another watchmate of mine to see what nazurah does loh. The pot of noodles is separated into two, one for her and the other one for Nicole and germin. Grace doesn’t want to eat, Clayton cooked another two packet of Maggie for me and grace. Keep persuading grace to eat since it was clayton who cooked it. They two rather close uh :x (no offence) In the end, Grace ate. Super nice luh!! Nazurah couldn’t finish her noodles, gave it to me. The noodles she cook and the noodles clayton cook is way different luh. No choice loh, I scarficied :) I ate the noodles nazurah cooked. Suhail, roger, kahwei was with us. They tasted our noodles and they said there was a big difference. Keep asking me don’t eat later tummyache and plus I was eating raw lunchmeon. Left one quarter, grace went to throw away the noodles I was eating -.- bcause no matter how, I didn’t want to throw :x hehs. Finished grace’s noodles for her and wash up. Tidied up our area and put our backpacks under a blue tub(a mat). Went to the toilet with Grace, Germin, Syafiee, Edgar, Clayton bcause I was having a tummyache already -.- came back and it was time for bedtime. Went into the tents, chatted with grace only the two of us was in the camp. Heart-to-heart talk yeah? :) slept soon and woke up at 1145pm to do night duty -.- needed to guard the kayaks and speed boats as it was not OBS camping site. Did night duty with grace, syafiee, edgar, nicole, germin(?), suhail, kahwei, roger, three other girls and a boy from other grps. Sit down by the beach, super cooling. Hope darling was with me then :) Was chatting together until 1pm when we all decided to sleep. Another group’s duty already :) Slept soon after.
